“The Falcons had a chance to salvage their season and the Patriots had a chance to establish themselves as a legit threat. This game was deceptively close, a Maye fumble looked like it would cost the Patriots as the Falcons tried to mount the comeback, but a missed extra point and clutch 3rd down conversion ended up winning it for the Pats. Penix and London returned in this game. While they were both missed I’m sure, it is clear that Drake London’s absence was felt HARD as they relied on him consistently in this game, especially on the most important plays. Once again, I feel like the Falcons blew a golden opportunity from both Penix himself and play calling in general. For the Pats, Maye did just enough, but Demario Davis and Hunter Henry were essential in this win along with a sprinkle of Stefon Diggs”

The Falcons had a chance to salvage their season and the Patriots had a chance to establish themselves as a legit threat. This game was deceptively close, a Maye fumble looked like it would cost the Patriots as the Falcons tried to mount the comeback, but a missed extra point and clutch 3rd down conversion ended up winning it for the Pats. Penix and London returned in this game. While they were both missed I’m sure, it is clear that Drake London’s absence was felt HARD as they relied on him consistently in this game, especially on the most important plays.
