“This was fine. Not good, not terrible, just passable for a sporting event. This game understandably is going to get called haram-ball. Considering the teams involved, how could it not? Especially in light of what we witnessed yesterday. While this game certainly didn’t even approach the heights of yesterday’s classic, I do want to give this game the credit it deserves (before I give it the crap it deserves). This game had a good amount of shots and some clutch defensive plays that kept it tense to the end. The penalties only added to the drama. But with that being said, it’s not fun when the only truly dangerous chances come from the penalty spot. It makes the refs feel like they have a greater role in the game than the players. Nearly 90% of all shots being off-target will do that to a game. It lived up to its reputation going into it, but it was better than a one-sided drubbing. I personally want to give credit to Hincapié for really stepping up tonight, made a bunch of big stops.”
