First half of this game was mostly sloppy with the Mercury in firm control. But everything changed when Sabrina Ionescu attacked and by that I mean put up 10 points in the final 4 minutes. This game was dead even in the 2nd half, until the Mercury’s 7-0 run in the middle of the 4th quarter. Thomas was an absolute force during that run, she was great the whole game; but she imposed her will in that run. Stewart tried her very best to lead the comeback, but it wasn’t enough. Some soft techs and poor officiating don’t ruin this game for me, but it does hurt it.
