“New England actually tries to put up a fight here, but the hole was dug early and some truly disgusting turnovers kept them from gaining much ground. Still, Maye had some reassuring flashes of brilliance: a few touchdown passes, the first glimpse at the vaunted Maye–Boutte commection, and the rookie even getting some solid yards on his legs. The Texans' defense was simply too stifling against New England's paper-thin O-line, leaving no room to catch up.”
