“Alright, I let last year's success make me expect too much. I forgot what it was like being a fan of an okay team for most of the past couple of decades. I am going to focus on finding the enjoyment again. Whoever makes a supercut of '26 Jays pitchers' fielding fails is gonna get 100k views on YouTube. I love watching Andrés Giménez play. The defense is elite, obviously, but he's fun with a bat and on the bags, too. Straw eating up Tolle's pitches in the third? Beautiful. I miss that shit from last year so much. And how about Davis Schneider? Dude went from ice cold to nuclear in the blink of an eye. I like John Schneider making Cease get through the 5th. The bullpen has been destroyed by the starters and it isn't sustainable. 300 Springer Dingers, 126 as a Jay. Man, time flies ... Good game. The Sox never felt out of it. Should be a fun series.”
