“Duran and Contreras both go yard in this one. Contreras really is 80% of this team's offense. This is why we need him to stay on the field and not be getting suspended, he is so valuable. Duran, on the other hand, since that stellar 2024 season, has not been good on offense. We need him to turn things around in the second half of this season. Really hope Suarez is okay. He has had so many incredible starts this season, need him healthy. Usually Gregory and Tyron suck, so good to see them step up in multi-inning roles today, and Chapman closes it out. Great sweep, sucks I couldn't watch it because of Peacock, but listening to Will Flemming's voice at 12:30 in the morning is pretty chill too. 8 games below .500 now, maybe get that to 6 before the All-Star break, and then 3 by the end of July, then 2 above .500 by the end of August, and then who knows, in this weak American League, maybe 86 wins is enough for a Wild Card spot? (Yes, I know we suck and it won't happen, let me have hope)”
