Aranda goes deep for the Rays. Andres Giminez played all 5 runs for the Blue Jays courtesy of a 3-run homerun and then a 2-run homerun as well. Jays offense still looks lackluster at best. Vladdy isn’t hitting for any power and Springer is seeing his average dip and dip. Springer is very close to being a drop from my fantasy team. It’s almost an auto 0/4 every single night. Gausman got knocked around pretty good in this one. Bryan Baker may have found himself a role and a home in Tampa Bay as their closer. Dude has been lights out and is starting to show some fire and passion the group of tier 1 and 2 closers have.

“You’re playing the game backwards Kev!” “Were you baking cookies before coming out? Why are your hands covered in butter!!” Best game I’ve ever been to. Not cuz of the double home runs from Gimenez on legendary home run night, and not cuz of Vladdy hugging a runner at 1st to get him out. I’ve never been so drunk at a game in my life. The family beside us in the furthest back row of the 500 level brought sunflower seeds and I fell in love with them all over again. Haven’t had them since I was playing t-ball as a kid. Got a sickass T-shirt from the giveaway, had a fun time with friends, chirped Kevin on the mound. What a fuckin dandy. Stopped paying attention to the game in the 6th inning probably. What a fun night with friends :)
