Holy moly what a 3rd…
First time in franchise history that we win after being down 3 goals going to the final period. Out of 310 previous times it’s happened, this is the first time we’ve won.
First two periods were completely flat. It felt like watching peak early 2010s Leafs disappointment. The boys turned it around a full 540 degrees. Absolutely fantastic.
Not even Knies had any passion in the first two periods that’s how bad it was.
Prime Monday commentary is hilarious, I need to watch Monday games more often.
The Jay’s spirit of the comeback has been transferred from the Skydome to Scotiabank and it was on full display over the last 20 minutes.
Stolarz proving again and again why he’s our MVP.

Is that a real stat? This is really the first 3 goal 3rd period comeback the Leafs have ever had? That’s insane.
Also, Prime Monday Hockey is the best hockey broadcast out there, I highly recommend watching it each Monday.

Edit for the comment above: I looked it up. This is the first Leafs regular season 3 goal 3rd period comeback. They’ve done it in the playoffs 3 times.
