“This is the type of game that’s on in your mechanic who’s got a 412 area code’s office. It’s raining outside and you gotta replace your 02 sensor for an upcoming emissions test. It’s a pain in the ass but you gotta stop putting it off. Your mechanic said it’s gonna take an hour so you tune in. You don’t know a lot about these teams, but you see both are compromised of players on all different levels trying to prove themselves playing for franchises with a lot to prove. It’s equally as dull in Pittsburgh, you can hear the hot mics in the crowd better than you can hear the pirates wonderful announcers. You experience a synchronicity with the action happening miles and miles away in a state you’ve only visited once. It gives you an indescribable sense of comfort. Pirates lose 5-0.”
