“The Padres made Aaron Nola look legitimately good, how inept is their offense right now? Everyone contributed in the Phillies win tonight, with Harper, Turner, and Realmuto going yard, Bohm driving in a run and making multiple great defensive plays, and the bullpen mostly held it down with Kerkering and Duran standing out. But man, that was as close to a vintage Aaron Nola start as we'll ever see. Perfect through 4.2 innings, gave up two runs immediately after, but survived the RAV 4th inning for two more clean ones. I doubt we'll see this version of Nola many more times, so I'll cherish this win.”
