What a pleasant surprise. I thought for sure the Wild would control this game and Grubauer would have to stand on his height to give Seattle any chance of winning this one. Through 2 periods, I was partially right. Grubauer was having a good game, but Wallstedt was living up to the first 4 letters of his name. Even better for the Kraken, they were keeping up. Still, didn’t mean much considering they were losing 2-0. Idk if they got a great intermission speech or got motivated by the Seattle crowd, whatever happened, the Kraken flipped a switch. They came out buzzing. Larsson’s blast cut the Wild’s lead in half and got the crowd rocking. Then, in their 1st power play of the period, the Beniers got the tying goal off a rebound and this game turned from a formality to a coin flip. Don’t think the Wild laid down, even with all the momentum in the Kraken’s favour, they kept fighting. I’d still say the Kraken were the better team in the 3rd. Surprisingly, the Wild stole it in OT, great game
