Flames get the comeback win and ignite the vibes in a blaze of glory. I gotta get better with the fire puns/metaphors. Rasmus Andersson continued his absolute heater, but Nazem Kadri was a monster in that 3rd period. He harnessed a tiny bit of Jarome Iginla in that stretch. Specifically the part that would say ‘enough is enough’ and brutalize his opponent. They were fantastic in the 3rd period and it’s easy to think they finally woke up. In reality, it was a long time coming for the Flames. Joey Daccord was unbelievable. The Flames peppered the Kraken netmimder held strong and looked like he would steal the game, but the Kraken gave up too many power plays. Kadri blasted home the tying goal and then Coronato won the game with a perfectly placed shot in the top corner. Of course, none of that wouldn’t have mattered if Dustin Wolf doesn’t lock-in and shut the door in the final minutes. Overall, this game was great, even though it was one-sided most of the way.
