The first two periods were heavily dominated by the Sharks in the shots category, and they were up 3-1. The game winner was a pretty no look pass from Celebrini at the boards behind the goal up to Pavol Regenda, who shoveled it into the top left corner for a goal. The Capitals got one back in the third period, one of their fourteen shots that period, but couldn’t get the tying goal.
