“This was almost a disaster for the Cubs, but they are somehow able to hold on! I was especially worried the Cubs were going to blow it because LA had won every game Eric Lauer pitched in this year up until this point. The Dodgers got a very early lead with Ohtani leading off the game with a bomb, but it was all Chicago after that! PCA would tie it right after, which was followed by a two run rally in the second and a three run rally in the fourth! The Cubs were looking like they would coast on that lead for the rest of this contest, but the Dodgers weren’t going down without a fight! The got a pair of massive home runs from Max Muncy and Shohei that made this a one run game in the eighth! Thankfully for Chicago, the Cubs wouldn’t allow any more as Jacob Webb would get the save! That is six straight losses for the Dodgers!”
