The Cowboys get a vital win and the Chiefs get a costly loss. Ironically, it was poor discipline from the Chiefs that cost them. Mainly McDuffie with multiple massive pass interference penalties. Depending on your perspective, the refs have betrayed the Chiefs. They even took away a flag that was surely for a BS unnecessary roughness call on Mahomes. If you ask me tho, the penalties only exasperated the Chiefs’ issues. The Cowboys offense kept making the big plays they needed. Pickens in particular came up clutch once again. CeeDee Lamb also had his fair share of big plays early to make up for a disastrous first 5 minutes from Dallas. The Chiefs offense very much relied on Mahomes bailing them out, he did it more often than not, but half the time a receiver dropped his pass or a penalty took away a play. If anything, I’m kinda surprised the Cowboys didn’t win by multiple scores. Still, they won and revived their playoff chances in the last 4 days.
