Holy cow, what a game from Brentford! I don’t know what to expect from Tottenham this year, but they were a mess this entire game! The Bees looked to be the far superior team, and they showed that on the scoreboard! Brentford found the back of the net very early, and they never looked back! Hotspur never came close to mounting a comeback while Brentford kept scoring! Thiago did miss a penalty off the post and Tottenham got a bit of momentum after that, but Brentford is able to hold them off to secure the dominant opening win! Brentford could be really special this year, and Tottenham has a very good shot at being relegated!

Brentford's first goal was clean, if you not paying attention they'll have you in a blender in no time, which is what ended up happening to Tottenham. that one-touch ball movement is so smooth. Brentford was dialed opening weekend.

Let’s pretend this game didn’t happen. On my phone pretty early so I could distract myself from reality, but Spurs played much better second half despite conceding the goal.
