Is it foretold by the football gods that Sam Darnold has to have at least 1 meltdown in a season no matter how well he is playing? Certainly felt that way tonight, but in spite of it, Seahawks still had a chance. This was for a couple reasons. First, the obvious, the Seahawks defense. They did a tremendous job restricting LA all game long. I attribute most of the points the Rams got to excellent field position from the turnovers. Even with the points, the Seahawks defense made sure every yard was hard to get to the point that Seattle actually outgained the Rams offensively. Next, Kenneth Walker and the run game in general. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many players have at least 1 rushing play. Walker was of course the main weapon but others helped. Including, the last reason, JSN, who continues to have an amazing season. Despite all that, the Rams managed to win, but it certainly wasn’t easy.
