Jake Bennett and Jovani Moran came back down to earth. Personally I think Jake Bennett is getting tired, he has not been as sharp his past couple starts. This was not a fun game to watch, the offense disappeared (not including sogard).

Bennett has a rare clunker and Moran comes back down to earth too after being lights out for weeks, offense couldn’t do enough to bail them out even with Sogard chipping in 2 RBI from the leadoff spot. Contreras gets thrown out at home on a really nice throw, just one of those nights

Amazing relay to get Willson out at home. I understand Eperstrom’s thought to send him with Chandler pitching so well, but I can’t help but think Willson shouldn’t be counted on for speed right now. Feeling less confident in Bennett the more I watch. The bullpen was such a huge part of the resurgence but it’s seeming less strong as time goes on.
