“Cool. I was really happy for Brayan Bello last season when he was solid for most of the year, only regressing slightly in his last couple starts and unfortunately failing in his biggest moment during the Wild Card Series against the Yankees. I thought he'd be able to rebound, go back to what worked in '25. He had learned to handle his emotions after having difficulty the seasons before. It's why this hurts, why I feel bad for him more than anger. I wanted Bello to improve, and be a decent homegrown arm. Not an ace not the next Pedro, which fucking idiots tried to foist upon him because he was a Dominican with similar pitches. But the Red Sox just seem to break all their young guys, whether it's Roman's back, Tristan Casas on crutches, Jarren Duran being suicidal. Maybe the team can't actually be blamed for all of this but the pattern is concerning. Blow it up!”
