@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Red Storm vs Blue Devils

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Red Storm vs Blue Devils game 8.5 out of 10 in CBB on March 27, 2026. Final score: Red Storm 75 – Blue Devils 80. S16. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

In a great game full of runs, Duke survived a scare and make it back to the Elite 8. Duke trying to assert their Blue Blood reputation and they were, once again, met with adversity. It wasn’t long until St. John’s went on a 13-2 run to take a modest lead in the first half. Only for Duke to remind them why they’re a favourite by going on their own run. That sequence happened constantly in this game. Big runs back and forth, just waiting for the run that would decide the game. When the Red Storm went on a 15-0 run in the 2nd half, it looked like the Blue Devils could bow out early. Duke found a way to tie it up and the final minutes were characterized by gritty back and forth where every shot was difficult. The fatal blow came when St Johns’s shots stopped dropping and Duke went on an 8-0 run to go up 5 which is a lead they would hang onto until the end. Cameron Boozer was mostly invisible imo, but he came alive in the final minutes while Isaiah Evans helped Duke keep up with St. Johns.
