“I wouldn’t blame Brewers fans for panicking. This game was all their playoff nightmares. Meanwhile Cubs fans are on cloud 9, this was best case scenario for them. The Brewers hitters were silenced as Matt Boyd came up huge all the way until he was taken out. Their own pitching couldn’t stop the Cubs. Ian Happ set the tone by giving them an early lead and the Cubs wouldn’t give it up. This was partially thanks to Peralta’s pitch count getting high very quickly. That forced the Brewers to use their bullpen much earlier than they would’ve liked. Even worse, that bullpen couldn’t stop the Cubs from adding to their lead. All that sets up a do-or-die game 5, should be good.”
