“Dodgers win the opener! In their opening day against the formidable Diamondbacks, it looked like Arizona had control of their game. In fact, Marte had a good fight against Yamamoto to open. In the top of the 4th, Perdomo hit a two-run homer. The Diamondbacks scored no more after that. Yamamoto had a solid game, both before and after that homer, as he had copious run support from the boys in blue. Gallen, who cruised through the first four innings, had the tables turned on him in the fifth when he allowed five Dodgers to reach base (and a 3-run Pages homer!) Other than that, it wasn't too much after. We got to see some good pitches from Treinen, the Dodgers putting up more runs, and a solid 8-2 victory off a quick Tanner Scott save. (Praying 🙏 both Treinen and Scott are better this year, we need it) ”
