“Iowa jumped out to a 12-2 lead, but they were just kidding and proceeded to kind of just let Illinois do whetever they wanted. As cool as it would have been to see Iowa in the Final Four, this is usually how these games go for the Cinderllas that manage to make it this deep into the Madness. Illinois is totally deserving of the Final Four, since they beat who I think was the toughest team in the region in (2) Houston. I’m happy for Brad Underwood, who finally sees all his hard work pay off with this Regional Tournament Title and a chance for the big one in Indy. RIP the 2025-26 Iowa Hawkeyes. You will be remembered fondly. ”
