“Man this Nationals team is so young and promising. Brady House with a grand slam, James Wood with 3 RBIs, Curtis Mead with a homer. I thought it was a great move by them to acquire him from Tampa Bay. CJ Abrams also with 2 RBIs, he's such a great shortstop when he's not in a casino until 3 AM. The entire Nationals squad was raking in this one, and then Cade Cavalli threw a solid game on the mound. Allowed 8 hits, but somehow kept it to only 2 runs allowed in 6 innings, and struck out 10 Mets. It will take a couple more years, and some successful development of Dylan Crews, but the Nationals will be in playoff contention soon.”
