“I will admit up front that this game got bonus points and elevated from a low 4 to a mid 5 for 2 simple reasons. 1. The Steelers lost definitively to a far better team (Yes, I am petty). 2. More importantly, we got a big man TD. That alone gives this game a full extra point. On to the game itself, I would like to thank the Texans defense. A unit that is looking like an all-timer proves it again tonight. Sheldon Rankins got that aforementioned big man TD, Al-Shaair was everywhere and the defense as a unit completely shut down the Steelers offense, exposing an already vapid set-up with a last-minute pick-6 for good measure. Believe it or not; the offense did things and it was mainly thanks to 2 men. TAKE A BOW CHRISTIAN KIRK AND WOODY MARKS. Kirk had over 50% of Stroud’s passing yards for a career high in receiving yards in his first 100-yard playoff game and his first in general since 2023. Marks picked the perfect time to have his first 100-yard rushing game as well. Thank you Texans.”
