“Great bounce back win for the Angels, and the pitching was on fire! Every one of the Halos pitchers tonight was great (except for maybe Jose Fermin who allowed most of the hits and the only run). George Klassen got the start, and he was awesome! He cruised through seven shutout innings while only allowing one hit! The Angels were able to do plenty of offense to let him leave in line for the win! Fermin came in for the eighth and allowed the Astros to rally after Cam Smith hit a homer, but Ryan Watson got the Halos out of it especially thanks to a huge strikeout against Yordan Alvarez! Ben Joyce came in for the ninth and it felt like ever fastball he through was a 103mph as he secures the save! The Angels get a very fun win thanks to some of the best pitching I’ve seen all year! We would genuinely be in playoff contention if we had Joyce closing out games all year with our 20 blown saves. The Angels need to finish the season 13-23”
