@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Senators vs Blue Jackets

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Senators vs Blue Jackets game 5.5 out of 10 in NHL on January 21, 2026. Final score: Senators 4 – Blue Jackets 1. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

It has been a turbulent year for both these squads. One of them was gonna get a much-needed morale boost with a win. 1st period was back and forth both on and off the scoreboard. Claude Giroux set up Kleven for his first goal of the season. Monahan then perfectly placed his shot to tie it up 4 minutes later. Just 3 minutes later, Stutzle did a ring-around-rosie and sniped home a goal to take back the lead. It was 2-1 after the 1st and the Senators proceeded to get something they haven’t had all season. Great goaltending. James Reimer locked in as the Senators flat lined for multiple long stretches and shut down multiple Blue Jackets chances. Greig took a break from being a dirty player and scored the insurance goal as the Senators get a much-needed morale boost in the wake of an absolute PR nightmare. Reimer was obviously a huge part of it, but I want to give Stutzle credit for his solo-effort and Montana’s best ever hockey product for his defense, suppressing the Blue Jackets.
