“Great atmosphere, great standalone game. College Basketball is better when St John’s is good. I thought Dylan Darling was the difference maker for the Johnnies. His energy and defense really seemed like it sparked everything for them. I still have more questions about St John’s than I do for UConn coming after this game - I still think UConn is a Top 5 team in the country and can win the National Chip. They were due for a loss and had far too many turnovers. They also shot the ball from deep terribly. They’ll be fine. St John’s unfortunately I think this is the peak and I don’t know how often they can repeat it. They shot it extremely well, their big guys played under control, and that’s just not something I think you’ll see that often”
