“Rough game. Florida’s luck has finally run out. Hard to win without your best player and that goes for any team. Panthers are just finding out the hard way. Seattle gave them a slow, gradual ass-kicking. Ironically, the Panthers jumped on the Kraken early in this one. So of course Ben Meyers scored the first goal of the game for Seattle. Catton added to their lead 5 minutes later, but Florida’s newest acquisition cut the lead in half literally immediately after. Surely they can make it a game? Nope. Florida flat-lined for the next 20 minutes of game time and Seattle made it a 4-goal lead. Panthers tried to show some life, but a domesticated cat making biscuits was showing more life than the Panthers. Then, the Panthers actually woke up and began attacking, only for Joey Daccord to shut down every attempt to cut into Seattle’s lead. Then the Kraken pressed hard in the 3rd, added 2 more goals and coasted for the last 5-ish minutes or so. Panthers scored their 2nd goal with 2 seconds left”
