Davis martin legacy run over I'm gonna go cry now. On a more serious note just destruction we couldn't get much going offensively and we just pitched terribly.

Probably the worst outing of the year so far for Davis Martin, the bullpen and the offense didn’t really help matters either, hopefully they can bounce back tonight

Not even my Yankee hate bias getting in the way here, I was genuinely surprised by this result. The White Sox came into this being 4-1 in their last 5, 2-1 against the Dodgers and 2-0 against the Braves. David Martin entered this game with a 2.41 ERA, and facing a Yankee lineup without Aaron Judge, I expected a good performance from him. Instead, 4 different Yankees stepped up with home runs. Ben Rice, I was of course not surprised about, nor was I surprised about Goldschmidt, but Spencer Jones and Jose Caballero? Where did that come from? Only positive takeaway from this game was the fact that Andrew Benintendi hit a home run. I'll always love Benny
