“This is the last thing I expected from this series. This game had the vibes of an intense rivalry. Lots of bitter feelings in this matchup and Gritty’s words CLEARLY inspired the Philly crowd which was very loud, especially while booing Crosby. However, while the atmosphere made this feel tense, the actual play on-ice was in contrary. I am shocked how much Pittsburgh is getting dominated, on virtually every level. Even when they have a power-play the Pens still can’t gain any control in this series. Philly’s structure combined with Vladar being a brick wall has the Penguins baffled. On top of that, the SPEED and skill of Philly’s top-heavy forward core is bullying the Pens’ defensemen, especially Karlsson. Which makes it even more baffling that he is on the penalty kill. When Noah Cates scored a powerplay goal to make it 4-2 in the 3rd, the game felt over. Penguins have been battered, bullied and bashed by Philly’s gloves and their sticks. Idk how they recover from the beating. ”
