The Sharks finally win a game. Their five game losing streak started with a blown 3-0 lead against the Oilers and ended with a 5-4 win against the Oilers. The 3rd period started with the Oilers tying it before the Sharks reclaimed the lead. Then the Oilers tied it again. Then the Sharks took the lead off the go ahead goal of Shakir Mukhamadullin. The Sharks played the last 1:20 4 against 6 and Askarov made big saves. Askarov needs to stay in net a little more, as the late penalty was due to him being out of goal and Desharnais taking it to avoid a goal. Mukhamadullin had also made a save himself earlier in the game which ended up helping the win. The Sharks need to catch fire now to go towards the playoffs.
