“Argentina just keeps playing with fire. They have been unable to dominate their opponents in the knockouts and this game is no different. It was far from easy, but individual brilliance, a lucky break and a GOLAZO won them this game. Switzerland was the people’s choice for obvious reasons, yet they were seen as major underdogs. They busted that perception in the first 10 minutes, keeping Argentina on their heels. Sadly, it didn’t matter because a perfect Messi corner set up Mac Allister for the first goal of the game. Switzerland’s attack continued challenging the Argentine backline, particularly at the start of the 2nd half when their opponents foolishly stayed back. Ndoye made them pay with a brilliant goal. Everyone wil talk about Embolo being sent off for a dive. While I initially balked at this decision, I actually agree with it now. The dive was clear and he knew he had a yellow, gotta be careful. Kobel kept Switzerland in it, only for Julian Alvarez to score a beauty for the win”
