“Seth Lugo hasn't been great this season but stepped up with an amazing outing against Seattle. Went 6 innings allowing only 2 runs and striking out 7. Emerson Hancock threw an absolute gem for Seattle, 7 innings 1 run and 14 strikeouts. All the attention goes to guys like Logan Gilbert, Bryan Woo, and George Kirby, but Hancock flies under the radar as a stud. Unfortunately, Hancock got let down by the fielders, allowing Seattle to tie it in the 9th on an error and then a game winning sac fly in the 10th. Good win for the Royals but they certainly did not earn it.”
