Lightning set the tone early and never really lost momentum despite St. Louis’s above average efforts. This game mainly triggered a single thought. I feel like we’re not talking about Darren Raddysh enough. The undrafted defenseman is having a career year without benefiting from playing with future hall of famer Victor Hedman. He added to his sparkling season with a 3 point night to take him to 27 points in 30 games. For context, that is more points than Quinn Hughes, Matthew Schaefer, Jake Sanderson and Erik Karlsson in less games. To be fair, this is also a credit to JJ Moser who is the guy who’s actually been playing next to Hedman and been essential to the Lightning’s defensive game. The pair of Raddysh and Moser was a nightmare for the Blues. Raddysh put up 3 points while he and Moser made it very tough for the Blues to score. I wish I could give player of the game to a D-pair, but that is how the cookie crumbles.
