“Reverse Sweep is officially off the table. The Flyers beat the Penguins in a very tense game and move on. This is where my take that 0-0 games can be awesome gets a ton of fuel. We didn’t get a goal until the very end and yet the game was tense af thanks to many close calls. Philadelphia had Pittsburgh on their heels early and often, yet the Pens remained resilient. They gradually took more and more control of this game. By the time overtime came around, it was all Pittsburgh. A goal felt inevitable for them and it was on Vladar to stand tall and keep Philly in the game. Which is exactly what he did. The Flyers finally gained some ground and forced Silovs to make some big saves. After very nearly ending it right before, Cam York zipped it home and sent Philadelphia to the next round. I wish this series had gone to 7, but I’m happy we got a good series out of this instead of a one-sided sweep. Besides Vladar, Tippett was great in this one, really kept Pittsburgh on their toes with speed”
