Was not surprised at all by this result. Gonzaga was grossly overseeded in this tournament and showed it today. Won’t ever understand how these guys got on the 3 line.
Texas is SEC tough, Gonzaga hadn’t seen anything like that all year outside of Michigan and that was a 40 point blowout. They weren’t built for the moment, Tramon Mark and Jordan Pope were.
Thank goodness the Zags are moving out of the WCC and into the new Pac-12. We will see what Mark Few can do against high level conference play all year long and not just a home and home with Portland (who this Gonzaga team lost to this year by the way).
