“Buxton goes 2/4 with a walk. Another homerun but at least someone was on base this time for it. Toronto’s own Japanese player hits two homeruns in this one. Almost had a third one as well that came up just short in left center field. The former Twin Varland gets it done in the 9th. Man would it be nice to have him closing games for us. Doesn’t pertain to this game, but E-Rod got hurt in the AAA game and left with a thumb injury after sliding into first base. So that’s great. Stuck with Wallner and Outman for another 30 games. ”
