“Why on Earth is this game rated so highly?! It wasn’t a bad game by any means, but it is nowhere near that good. The Angels struck first with a Taylor Ward homer, but it was mostly downhill after that. Matt Wallner would tie it on a home run of his own in the bottom of the first to get a fresh start for the Twins. Nolan Schanuel would give the Angels another lead with the third solo homer of the game, but this would be the last time the Halos led. The Twins would rally in the fourth inning, and they would tie it on a Willie Castro single. The Twins would get their first lead of the day shortly after with a Brooks Lee 2 run double. Jordyn Adams did remind me that he exists with another solo home run (why did the Angels waste a first round pick on him), but Minnesota would extend their lead soon after. A late rally for the Angels wouldn’t be enough as they drop the series to the Twins. There was actually nothing special about this game, this was not a 9.8”
