At least the real Sox started their RateGame career with a win. Rewatching some of this game and seeing Enmanuel Valdez warming up shows just how much this team has changed in the past 2 years 😂 Not even the craziest part of this early game. Zack Kelly started this game for the Red Sox. Shocked we didn't lose this game 50-2. But shoutout to you Zack for going 2 shutout innings-just for Greg Weissert to come in. I mean how did we not lose this game 50-2? Wild that they went 3 innings together without allowing a run. We also saw Jansen pitch 2 innings. Just a game full of pitching anomalies for the Red Sox. That Duran triple just reminded me of prime 2024 Jarren. Dude was special. I really hope he can return to that, doesn't look likely though. Lefty killer Rob Refsnyder of course grounded into a double play facing a righty, but at least got Duran in. In the 9th, parking lot enjoyer Reese McGuire got a tying sac fly and then we got 2 more sac flies in the 10th. Sac fly merchants 💯

Taking a trip down memory lane and seeing how far back I can go in the Red Sox history on here (at least through mobile) to land dead in the middle of the benign 2024 season. Some classic stuff here, especially with Jarren jump-starting the offense on a triple combined with a handful of errors giving the ChiSox a lead. The bullpen was solid keeping the Red Sox in this, and Hammy used his legs to tie things and send it to the tenth (with a vintage Kenley hold). Fun game.
