Very unexpected ending but much appreciated Islanders. The Islanders and Sorokin looked like they would hang onto the win until a crazy Shea Theodore goal gave Vegas life and it eventually led to them tying it up and taking the lead in the 3rd, just for a Barzal blast to tie it up and send it to OT. Ngl, I thought Vegas had it in the bag when they went on the power play in OT. Just about the last thing I expected was Pageau shooting a puck from under a Vegas defenseman’s feet and winning it with that shot. Surprises are fun, especially the kinds that help make your extra first round pick a little better. Side note: Schaefer is so fucking good.
