Sooooo, maybe the Penguins needed the defensemen help more than we realized. The Sharks complete an incredible scrappy 4-goal comeback after looking dead in the water. Then, as if we didn’t have enough drama, the Sharks won it in overtime with a goal from one of the NHL’s best names, John Klingberg. The Sharks should not have won this game. I don’t say that to discredit the comeback, I say that because the Penguins dominated the first two periods. Crosby got a goal and an assist, putting him just 2 points away from Mario Lemieux in all time points and the Pens scored 5 unanswered goals to take a 5-1 lead with less than 15 minutes remaining. The Sharks would only need 13 minutes to tie it up, ON THE ROAD. Unbelievable. Tyler Toffoli was a huge part of it, getting a couple scrappy goals including the one that tied it. Celebrini was incredible with that shot to bring them within 1. But John Klingberg, that move in OT. Had me thinking back to his days with the Stars. Nasty.
