@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Senators vs Hurricanes

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Senators vs Hurricanes game 6.4 out of 10 in NHL on April 18, 2026. Final score: Senators 0 – Hurricanes 2. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The NHL playoffs are here and they start with an underwhelming, but very tense game. It started with a bang! Jordan Staal and Brady Tkachuk dropped the gloves immediately. Brady is a known fight while Staal is not. Yet, Staal took Brady down and sent a message! It also set the tone as the 1st period was very physical. Both teams had their chances, but neither could truly scare the goaltenders often. Both Frederik Andersen and Linus Ullmark were locked-in, making many saves they had to in order to keep their teams in the game. Logan Stankoven finally managed to break through the 2nd when the puck just glided under Ullmark’s pads for the first goal of the game. Shortly later, in the 3rd period, we got the turning point of this game. Ottawa thought they tied it up, only for it to be revealed Andersen made a brilliant save. The Canes scored shortly after (don’t let the box score fool you, it was Stankoven). Both teams had very staunch defenses that didn’t let a ton of action happen.
