Northwestern had a very solid defense, as does Iowa. Fans outside the Big Ten don't realize how tough it is to win at Iowa- the Hawks are very good up front on both sides of the ball.
Lanning, able to win WITHOUT key players at WR, has increased his coaching resumé this season.
Oregon defense is formidable on the front line and in the secondary, and their running back by committee approach will give anybody they play fits moving forward into the Playoff.
