Sam Darnold has officially overcome the title of bust with now back to back 14 win seasons. He finally has competent pieces around him who make it so he doesn’t have to try and play hero all the time. Seahawks have the caliber of defense that can shut an opponent down completely which lets Sammy D have some room for error that he previously wasn’t afforded. 49ers look too injured to still be contenders. The Bears has been their only win against a team who will finish above .500 since October. Now with Trent Williams out, they’re effectively done. Purdy can’t carry this team by himself, that’s not who he is. And Philadelphia will prove that to the world in their playoff game.
