“Man oh man, I LOVE playoff hockey, within the first 3 seconds B. Tkachuk & J. Staal have dropped the gloves and are going at it and the crowd goes wild. Wonderful and fiery start to the playoffs Ullmark let up a softie in the early 2nd to Logan Stankoven and Carolina really laid on the pressure in their barn. Unfortunate 3 on 5 for Ottawa in the second but a strong job on the PK managing to not allow a goal. I think the Sens have a solid chance to level the series once they make the adjustment to playoff hockey though maybe they'll have to come back to the Canadian Tire Center so the Ottawa crowd can give it right back. But Carolina looked absolutely domaninant especially in the second period shutting down the Sens offence. This is looking to be a VERY physical series to will see which team gets worn down first Ottawa seemed to get frustrated towards the end and giving up 2 5 on 3s you're giving up way too many penalties. Let's see if they can solve this meanacing Carolina team.”
