“Holy cow, what a rush. It was not looking good. Despite a wonderful outing from Rocker, the Rangers looked on the cusp of wasting it. The bullpen completely failed us for the first time a while and the bat had fallen silent late in the game. I was ready to brush this off as another great pitching performance wasted. But then, something magical happened. The bats woke up. It started with Jake Burger firing a double and Jansen driving him home, only for Foscue and Helman to throw it away. Luckily, the rally continued as Joc Pederson revived hope with a blast to bring us within 2. All it took after that was a barrage of singles to win the day. That was a great pick me up after a certain other event massively bummed me out (ngl, I’m still super sad about it). Hopefully the Rangers use this game to get hot and not immediately waste it. Jung continues to easily be our best hitter with another good game, Burger came up huge in the 8th and 9th and Duran both scored 3 runs and walked it off. ”
