“The Avalanche are really nothing without Makar, it's actually crazy. They just can't move the puck as well when he's not there and the energy on the bench is low-key depressing. Devon Toews is the one mostly struggling with Makar, can't seem to generate anything and making so many turnovers. First goal against he gave way too much space to Eichel for a shot and the second goal was a straight giveaway from the boards. Really hoping Cale comes back as soon as possible, but they're saying he could gets surgery on his shoulder. Can't blame Wedgewood for those two goals, both were snipes. He actually kept his team in the game the whole time. Carter Hart is locked in. What an exceptional performance he is having.”
