@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Rangers vs Astros

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Rangers vs Astros game 7.3 out of 10 in MLB on May 16, 2026. Final score: Rangers 0 – Astros 2. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

I always appreciate tremendous pitching duel and we got exactly that in this one. Arrighetti and Leiter were brilliant. Hopefully this game and his previous game is a sign he’s about to go on a hot streak after a rough stretch. 7 innings of 1-run ball, 6 Ks and only 6 baserunners allowed is a great performance and would usually be the most notable pitching performance in a game, not this one. Spencer Arrighetti nearly jinxed Nick’s no hitter statements in this one. Went 7 innings deep with a no hitter with just a few walks. Heading into the 8th, I certainly felt like it was going to happen. Dezenzo even had the signature diving catch that comes with every no-hitter. Thankfully for my sanity, the Rangers managed to break it up as Foscue got a single. Right when it looked like the Rangers could get a rally going, Foscue got caught lacking and tagged out at first to kill Texas’s last hope. Frustrating to watch as a Rangers fan, but great to watch a pitching duel as a baseball fan.
