@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Saints vs Blue Devils game 7.5 out of 10 in CBB on March 19, 2026. Final score: Saints 65 – Blue Devils 71. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

David and Goliath matchup. Siena hasn’t been in the NCAA tournament since 2010. Meanwhile, Duke is THE basketball school. The tournament favourite with one of the top NBA prospects in the entire country with Boozer. Siena put fear in Duke’s hearts. Siena had an 11-point lead at halftime which was the largest any 16-seed had ever held against the 1-seed and the first ever double-digit lead for a 16-seed against a 1. Duke had to adapt if they were going to avoid embarrassment and they did exactly that. They played a zone defense and got more aggressive with their press. Those changes wore down Siena. However, it was the 2 missed dunks in a row a few minutes into the 2nd half that shifted momentum, especially when Duke went down and got their own dunk right after. Siena still hit some 3s and were able to keep a lead for a while, but they got gassed. Mostly thanks to nearly becoming the first team since 1979 to play their starters for an entire NCAA tournament game. At least they tried.
